I am 20 years old and just put $10,000 in a Charles Schwab account. What is the best way to invest it? I was hoping to invest in Scwabb emerging market funds, S&P 500 index funds, and bonds.

You won't be able to diversify properly in individual stocks without crushing your return with commissions, even if Schwab's commissions are comparatively low. I know Charles Schwab has auto investing for Mutual funds. This function isn't particularly useful for me. The reason being is that I max out my Roth IRA at the start of each year (the only acc where Mutual funds are helpful). I don't have Mutual funds in my taxable brokerage acc.
